Luke managed an escape and ‘got with’ the sheep earlier than planned.

This breed (East Friesian) is not particularly hardy, so I moved the ewes into the garage for lambing. It will be a lot warmer than the barn, and most importantly, draft free.

Obviously not a solution when the flock expands, but for this year it should work. And next year I need to make sure I keep a closer eye on old Luke.
